  15. Correctional Facility, or their families; $1.3 million in
  16. damages for injuries sustained in the violent suppression of a
  17. prison riot in 1971; by the New York State Court of Claims in
  18. Albany. Governor Nelson Rockefeller, who ordered the police
  19. assault on the prison that resulted in the deaths of 29 inmates
  20. and ten prison guards and civilian workers, called the killings
  21. "justifiable homicide."
